From Texas to????
Hello to All
New to the Forum and looking forward to all the advice I can glean from the wisdom of the fellow sailors. From reading the posts on this forum,I will learn much and perhaps add my small part from time to time.
Glad to be here.
Thanks, Tom

hello!
Tom,
I just joined the forum today, myself! I'm looking forward as you are to the discussions and collective wisdom.
My boat will get wet in Gulf of Mexico waters this coming Friday. We could be neighbors! Interested to hear about your boat.
Rocky

Hi Rocky
I am in Galveston Bay and sail a Beneteau 321. I'm located at the north end of the bay in Baytown. Where are you located?
I'll bet you are looking forward to launching your boat this week!
Tom

Tom,
Waterford. But we won't be there Tues. We will be Fri thru Sun. Send a personal message (I haven't figured 'em out yet) if you want to go sailing sometime. We will likely not have the boat ready to venture out for a few months yet as we're doing an extensive refit, including all rigging (standing and running), bottom job, new instruments, new cockpit canvas, and extensive interior work. Did I mention...it's a Catalina 42 Mark I. The new set of sails will have to wait a year...

HiTom,
Can I add my welcome also? Sounds like you've maybe stimulated a local chapter meeting - and all the more reason we should have a Cruiser Forum Flag we can all buy and fly!
Enjoy
JOHN

Bill,
Sorry, offline a couple of days getting ready to make the trip to Kemah to launch the boat after refit/bottom job. We'll be there tomorrow, hopefully online, as well. We'll be on pier 13. If you are there, please wander by and see the new arrivals ( welcome libation guaranteed).
Rocky

boat name
Quetzalcoatl (extra points if you can pronounce it!)
Work schedules may prevent us from returning until mid-April after this weekend's visit. If we're there, welcome aboard in any event!

Tom & Rocky,
Welcome to the forum. I am in Waterford Harbor also. S2 11.0 Wind Dancer on Pier 11. I'm usually down there a couple of days a week. Stop by any time.

Hello All,
I to am in Texas, just down the dock from Tom. I'm much better looking than he is but he still gets all the girls. Of course I don't ask "does this smell like cloriform to you". He put me on to this spot, so here I am.........martin
