Not sure..

Not sure of anyone's lending status right now. As I read in the paper everything has tanked...on the other hand, two days ago I couldn't find a parking spot at the mall! I guess everyone was going in to watch everyone else not spend money...so confusing. Anyway...some say you can get financing depending on credit, others say nada ...none available.

In the past, Key bank was a pretty good source for boat loans.

Luck to you.

Without loans available, is the boat industry going to go belly up now. They are going to need a bail out too!

I'm sure if one has enough cash down one can get a finance from most anyone.

Hey dustin awesome,

Not sure what everyone is talking about- we closed on a boat loan just 2 1/2 weeks ago. People who do boat loans need to sell new loans- that's how they make their money.....Anyway, we used a national bank, but our buyer's broker said he had a few companies he worked with that were giving out some good boat loan deals. Maybe you could try talking to a buyer's broker and pick his brain on some good sources of financing in your specific area. Good luck!

You can also look for owner financed. With the downturn in the economy selling a boat becomes also difficult and since people are getting squat in the banks for their savings some have taken to financing a boat or a house they wish to sell while charging a higher interest rate than they would have gotten elsewhere.
