Finally! We finished the exterior!

After a week on the hard in CT scrubbing, waxing, etc...

Our exterior is fit to be shown in a photo here. This is the result:

Beautiful boat Sean.

You sure have put alot of work into her Sean. So how much work do you have left now?

Or have you finished all the work needed to be done? For now?

Captain K - We are done. Mostly. I think you can never really be 100% finished, but we sure are darn close. There are just a few odds and ends here and there and then the extras for "someday."

We'll probalby leave her like she is for quite some time though.

One thing I have to figure out is that pesky starting problem from the other thread. Now that my batts are all charged up, I'm going to try that "turn off the house batteries when starting the engine" routine to see if there is a change in the result. If that fails, it's off to Kai Nui's suggestion of trying to trace down any drains on the starter battery.

And other than more marketing... that should about do it! We have a bunch of reservations for the summer now, since the season is starting.

How long until you make it out to Moss Landing to see your new boat again?

Probably not til Fall!!

I have made a change in plans. I might move the boat to Phoenix for now. And fix her all up.

Sail her around on Lake Pleasant, north of Phoenix.

At a later date. I can move it to the coast. And sail her off coast!!

The boat looks great Sean. You must have a great feeling of satisfaction seeing her sitting in the water looking so good.

You missed a spot under the porthole!

Just kidding - the boat looks great. Have you ever considered taking her on the great lakes?

Also FYI - I couldn't get your web site to work right in Firefox. It looked great in IE. In fact, I just sent my wife a link.

----

Never mind about firefox - it was hung.
