Aloha and welcome aboard!
I have a friend that used to run the Samson yard somewhere in SoCal around Newport Beach somewhere. Really knows a lot about them.
I've seen some beautifully built ferros and then I've seen some complete messes. I think it all comes down to who layed up the hull.

im on my 4th ferro this one a x fishing trawler 45ft built in the 60s and fished southen waters new zealand for 45years im now turning it into a go anywere liveaboard
