Everyone Should Have a Dream

Hello everyone.
Yes, I have a dream to own my own yacht and sail the coastal waters of Turkey.
Many years ago I was raised on sailing; starting with inland waters of the U.K. and progressing to the open waters of the West coast of Scotland.
Those were the days when you learned yachtcraft under the guidance of parents, who loved the sea, bought a boat and got on with it!

Now I have a hankering to return to the sea and find that the more I look the higher the wall of legislation seems to get. With the help and advice from forum members I am sure that, in time, My wife and I will fulfill that dream.

Hugh.

Re: Everyone Should Have a Dream

Yes, everyone should have a dream. I too dream for the day when I can cut the docklines. I find myself 44 years young, recently divorce with sole custody of a beutiful 9yo daughter. Would not leave to live a board w/o her, cannot take her to live on the boat because of various court orders. So I sit, landlocked in Oklahoma, waiting til the day she turns 18 and I can retire to live that dream. Dreaming of a life when someday I can live the dream.
