Ericson 39B Owner

Hello all, I am looking to build a complete hard dodger for my Ericson 39B sailboat. I would be ever so greatful for some pictures of how some of you have done yours. My wife and I and our Newfoundland dog liveaboard in Brownsville, Wa. We have lived aboard for 3 years now. We have recently purchased the 39B. Before this boat we lived aboard a Ericson 32 for a year. Our very first sailboat was a Cal 25. Hope to hear from some of you. Mike.

Try EricsonYachts.org: The Starting Point on Ericson Yachts! if you haven't already. Ericson yachts have a very strong following and you will find tons of info on their site. Good luck.

Sorry Mike. I just tried that and it didn't work for me. Too many hits. Go to CelestialSailor and check out his posts. He did one and posted lots of info.

Ericson 39-B Dodger

Mike, we also have a 39-B with a hard dodger. Actually we are in the process of selling the boat, but that's another story. She was a great boat for us and I'm sure you'll get many years of enjoyment and great adventures with her.

On the page we are using to advertise her
( http://www.queserasailing.com/ericson39b.htm ) , there are a few photos showing the dodger. Also if you look through the general web site, you'll find a whole bunch of other photos that might give you more details.

Good Luck,
Greg

E-39B Hard Dodger

Greg thanks for the info. I have seen your site before and absolutely loved seeing your adventure that you went on. We also live with a dog. We have a Newfoundland. I made a special ramp for her to get in and out of the boat. It folds up out of the way and you never know its there. I see that you moved up a few feet in boat length, congrats! The shape of the entryway to the main cabin is quite unique on the 39B. It makes putting a dodger threre a tough challenge. Anyway thanks for posting a reply.
