Smile "Destiny"

Camden Maine,Opening up Shrink wrap on "Destiny" After 25 years ON The Hard! SS NorthStar 80/20 Ketch ,Hoping to Launch late April? And run her across the Bay to Home in Sylvestors Cove. I Believe Ive got a few things down below to sort out! Many Questions to Come .Guess Ill fist buy my self a few quarts of Marvelous Mystery Oil and try and free up Her Westerbeke 60 , from her insides out .
At least her Corsair ST ships clock seems to be in Order! Happy Sails TG

Welcome aboard. I'm utterly fascinated. I've never spoken to someone in your situation, and it sounds like a wonderful project. I take it that this boat is a beloved old friend, and you're going to have some beautiful moments, as well as frustrating ones. I wish you good luck with all my heart! It's going to be an adventure, and, possibly become a *Sticky* if you post pics and text to document the project.

[If you haven't seen minaret's "Refitting a Nauticat 52", and you have time, take a gander. To me, a very impressive thread.]

Jim and I are long time cruisers, presently in Australia, having left San Francisco about March of '89, the 2nd time.]

Thanks Ann, Im Hoping to Get "Destiny" over board by Aprils End, up here in Deer Isle Maine.Apart from Freeing up her Westerbeke 60 Ive got alot of ELBOW Grease ahead of me! She will be updated with new electronis& saftey Gear , and after 2 summers in Penobscott Bay, getting aquainted with eachother, I plan on Sailing her to a Free Harbor Ive found near a Vacation Home Ive got in CalaGonone Sardinia and keep her in the Med! When theres work in Italia ,Im to& fro between Orvieto& Sardenga . Happy Sails
