You've probably forgotten the answer to that: "Because we can."

After all, everyone is in the game to make a profit. Why sell cheap and spoil the market, when you can make your investors happy by selling higher? DIY will always be cheaper since you have no rent, insurance (for hazmat substances, spills, and liability/damage to customers' engines) or any of the other nasty business overheads. Although I'm told that home-brewers of bio-d are having a hard time getting WVO these days, as recyclers are willing to pay the restaurants to take it--and they won't allow anyone else to touch the tanks THEY supply.

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum but have heard many good things about it and look forward to interacting with all. currently sail a catalac 9m catamaran in NE Florida.
