Couldn't Stay Away Any Longer!

Hi Y'all! land locked Texan who long had dreams of cruising is getting back on course. I had a 22' Catalina to learn basics on here in San Antonio at Canyon Lake. After sick parents and job changes, I am getting back on course and want to begin planning my big push off. I'm leaning towards a multi-hull with plans to start in the Texas gulf (or where I happen to find a great boat) and making my way to Belize where I own some land. Ideally I will meander around the Caribbean building my skills and enjoying rum drinks before jumping across the ditch to explore whats on the other side. I'm basically a newbie who's read a lot, and lake-sailed a 22 footer… so I have a lot to learn!

Cheers!

Howdy Jason! Welcome Aboard CF!

Landlocked Sailors? I know the feeling.

Good luck on your boat search and have a great time on the forum and on the water.

Belize is nice (offshore keys). Great diving.

I suppose you already know about this site. It has a lot of information that may help you, make sure to check out the home page for articles etc. Sailboats for sale from Sailing Texas, buy or sell your sailboat, free sailboat ads.
