Chesapeake Bay Newbie Seeking LA Trawler / Cruiser

Just popping in to say hello.
I have not yet become a cruiser but hope that in the next month or so that will change. I know nothing about trawlers, or power boats in general.
I appreciate the already good advice you have given me.
I am going to post my immediate questions in the Powerboat thread

Welcome to the forum, I am sure there is a lot of cruising information that could be helpful for both power and sailboats. Good luck
