We can't be the only ones, but this forum is 90% sail. I still find it interesting and read it every day, but mostly because I love the perspective of people who have gotten out there, especially beyond the US. I'm shopping for a 3807 or even 4207 to do the Loop eventually, but for now the 3207 does the job. IMO the best Carver forum is on Boaters Ed. Not very active, but those guys know their stuff, always a great help to each other.

Should have bought a 3807 or 4207, but oh well, someday. Love the boats. Nothing like the feel of that size and power gracefully sliding out of the slip and past the breakwater.

Well, maybe, but kind of weak though. I still think the most worthwhile is the forum on boatersEd.

And I think the BoaterEd sub-group isn't huge, either, although the overall forum has been around for a long while. (They have both free and paid membership levels.)
One of our dock neighbors has a Carver, and he's said he hasn't found much in the way of critical mass yet...
Although there's another possibility at http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/carver-yacht-28/ and that seems to be much more active than the BoaterEd sub-section.
I'm associated with a forum for a different brand, and there's a membership fee... partly because of the cost of software, servers, software consultants, etc... but especially because of the cost of defense against spam, hacking, bots, etc.

Apps are another level of difficulty. I work with a vBulletin forum; vBulletin (not the forum administrators) provides the app software... and it's not fully useful.
