Caribbean Greetings from Curacao . . .

Hello to all ...

I've been on this board for some time now, but not very active (yet) ...
I hope to change that ...
at the moment I'm in the Netherlands, X-mas vacation, see my kids, parents and only sister again (3rd time this year), but I'll be back on my island January 13 ...

I'm a part time RN, work 5 nights, then free for 9 days ...
that's my regular schedule ...
I've done some sailing ... local sailing on a Centaur18 or sunfish ... on the ocean to Bonaire and/or Klein Curacao with friends on their big(ger) boats ...
a Transatlantic delivery on a new HR40 from Sweden to Annapolis,
Bahama's twice, Los Angeles / Catalina island ...

I have a tough/rough life, but someone has to do it ...

Hi Scott, good to see you here too ...

after I dropped you off at the airport, George sort of moved into my house for 10 days, until we could leave ...
George met mr. Murphy and his whole family ...

something on the waterpump, dinghy + outboard stolen and a few other things ...
George kept thinking he was the only one with bad luck while underway ...
other ppl called him a cry baby and I fullheartedly agreed ...

the 7 days to SXM was not the easiest trip I made, but I learned a lot ...
7 days hard on the wind, wind always 25Kn or more, 24/7 ...
meeting friends in St Martin and staying on their 62ft trawler made up for everything ...
more about this trip on my website ...

greetz,
Anya
