Greetings to all. I'm a newbie, just introducing myself. My wife and I just purchased a new (to us) 30' sailboat here in Charleston, SC. My hope is to introduce her to sailing, gain some skills (both of us), buy a bigger boat, and head off to the BVIs which I have enjoyed. So I'm sure I'll be calling on y'all for answers to many questions, and look forward learning from your collective wisdom!!!!

Wlecome aboard Cruisers Forum Cap'n!

Congrats on the new boat. Fixing it, sailing it or navigating it to far off shores. Plenty of folks here can help with all of that!

Enjoy the forum.

Another welcome. Like the plans.

Lots of good data in the older threads, but ask away.

Aloha Curt,
Welcome aboard! What kind of 30 did you get? If you get the sailing thing down pretty well you won't need too much of a bigger boat depending on what make and model you have.
Kind regards,
JohnL
