Cape Marine Coastal 34

I am looking at buying a Cape Marine Coastal 34 but cannot find much info on them. Any info on potential problems would be welcome. Same goes for comparable prices. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I never heard of them and ni info on Sailboatdata. I'd be leery.

Re: Cape Marine Coastal 34

Hi. I think you mean a Cape Marine Coast 34. We have one although she was built in 1986 in a different yard (Randal Yachts in Vancouver BC). Designer was Grahamme Shannon. We've been told there were about eighty built and that two have circumnavigated. We've owned Tappan Zee, our cutter-rigged sloop, for about 12 years and I know her inside and out as we are completing a refit and heading to Mexico in November.

We live on her and love her and I can tell you a lot if you are really interested. Also, there's an owners group if you google Coast 34 that has some history and a list of boats and owners. Great older cruising boat.

That looks bigger than 34'. Unless you mean the white one in the foreground...

Great looking boat.

Do a search here - there was a inquiry in 2010 on the Coast 34 with some good info in the replies. Beautiful boat with a nice layout IMHO.
