Breakin' Hearts In The Caribbean ....

Howdy! I just joined the Cruisers Forum and thought I'd say "Hi!" to all. I'm cruising the caribbean in my C&C Landfall 42'. Currently (7 Sept 2008) on anchor at Spanish Waters, Curacao. Next stop: Cartagena. If you get by Colombia, stop in for a rum & coke! ;o)

pirate Reply to Hud3 and Bradley

Hud3 - Thanks for the welcome.

Bradley - I am going to do what I am told for the first time in a long time ... I'm going to wait for the weather & sea improvements that come on or about October 1st. Then it's up coast to Santa Kruz Bay, a quick shot over to Aruba just to spend the night, then off to the islands, Monjes del Sur. After that it's around Cabo de la Vela ... a few more stops, including 5 Bays, then to Cartagena. Look me up at Sarifundy's. My boat's called Indigo and I'm there for Happy Hour on Monday & Thursday. :cubalibre

Best to all ...

Thanks, John. I hope all's well in Hawaii ... my home-away-from-home. (I lived on Oahu for 3 years.) Fair seas and favorable tides, Skipper.

Lou,

Have you done that passage before? If not, or even if you have, you might enjoy reading the "Colombia Coast Updates" in the archives of The Caribbean Compass. You can find links near the bottom of their home page Caribbean Compass - Caribbean Yachting News Magazine

Hud -
Thanks for the tips. Yes, I have this information. It's from the voyage(s) od Pizzaz. I was given a CD with this and it's equivalent for Panama, etc., all the way up to Honduras, Belize and Mexico. I would love to share the CD with other cruisers heading south-then-west-then-north but the CD has an enormous amount of information and charts on it. To date, I have made a copy or two for fellow cruisers.

Hope all is well.
