Brand new wannabee

Hello all,
I have been lurking here for a few weeks reading all I can. I have a deep desire to relocate and embrace my mid life crisis with a big catamaran. I think it will be a couple years before I can convince my wife though!
Seriously, I have always been drawn to the water, and enjoy the short trips I have taken to date. I have many questions, but will try not to bother any of you too much. Thank you for letting me tag along.

Hi Nettinga1 and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you've got the boat bug. Tough disease to cure but living in South Dakota certainly won't feed the infection.

Re: Brand new wannabee

Welcome, and I think if you take a trip to Florida (or maybe Texas is a little easier, just no keys to visit) and charter a catamaran for a day or a weekend your wife will start to catch the bug too! Especially if you do it about February 1.

And don't worry about bothering us with questions, what are we going to have to argue about if you don't ask questions??

Welcome to the forum. Just don't tell your wife what a Cat costs.

Or justify it by saying it's technically two boats...
