Hi all,
My name is Larry Fitch and live in southeastern Washington state. I have sailed off and on for most of my 75 years, starting when I was 6 in South Carolina. I'm a retired mechanical engineer. There's a lot I don't know about sailboats and hope to have you folks help educate me from time to time when questions arise.

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF!

There is always a lot to learn about sailing.
You have come to the right place for a good source of opinions and experience, and a good place to share your own too.

Hi Larry and welcome to the forum. Always nice to have another engineer onboard.

I can promise that you will get more help and information here than you know what to do with. A lot of the common questions have been covered in previous discussions so you might find a lot of relevant information searching older threads on the forum. Also I find it quite interesting just to browse some of the previous discussions to discover interesting topics I hadn't thought of myself.

Welcome aboard Larry! I've spent a bit of time in southeastern Washington and I am guessing you might be doing your sailing around Clarkston perhaps?

Larry. Thank you.
I want to find liveaboards in Buxton or NC outer banks region. I'm not a diver.
Wish to sleep on a boat for few nights. Like a sleeping room.
No other boat useage required.
Which section should I post this on.
Karen.
