pirate Beginner in Australia, from Zimbabwe!

Hey Everyone,
I am a Zimbabwean, living in Australia now and getting into sailing. I am a keen fish/spearfisherman, camper, hunter and outdoors man. I am always keen to learn, especially cruising, so if you are ever in the area (within a few thousand kms) drop me a message and maybe i can tag along for 2 or 3 weeks. I will always pay my way and do at least my share of work. I am only a beginner but have knowledge of rope work, and the basics of sailing. I am also quite a handyman with woodwork, motors, electrics, etc.

My plan is to buy a fairly large cruiser in a years time, with roughly 8 to 10 berths in partnership with a few good friends of mine, some of which are very experienced sailors. This could be anywhere in the world because we plan to sail everywhere anyway!
Sounds like a pipe dream I know, but we are committed - believe you me!
