Back to the water after 10 years dry

Moving on up , just bought larger boat. I last visited this site about 8 years ago. Started sailing in 1972 after taking short course of Annapolis Sail School.
In 1981 bought a 35 ft. Dickerson Ketch and sailed down to the Abacos. After 3 years with the Ketch, I went back to work and have managed to buy and sail 3, yep, 3 Bristol 24s Two on the Bay and one in Maine. Love the B24!!

Now, retired I decided I wanted to get back on the water so I bought -- wait for it! --- A Bristol 26. Plan to spend as much time as possible on the boat for the next couple of years. At age 81, I don't plan too far ahead.

Love the water, my fellow sailors, animals of all kinds and a good gam with anyone with an interesting story.

Welcome to CF !

Looks like you know a good boat when you sail one. Please post pictures when you get a chance. (I think we all love pictures of beautiful boats)
