Back after a 6yr Hiatus

Hi all,

I wanted to come back to the meets and greets after a long hiatus to say hi.

My, doesn't time fly.

Well, was living aboard my old girl for a number of years, and now have just moved back on. Spent 1 1/2yrs as a landlubber looking after aged parents, and now since both have passed away, life can return to some sort of normality. If anyone hasn't gone through the 24hr/day caring process of a love one, I can assure you it is one of the most heart wrenching and utterly exhausting (physical and emotional) experiences that you can ever imagine. Being there right up to the last breath is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Now I can start to catch up with 2yrs worth of maintenance and repairs...it is a little overwhelming to see what has to be done, but start I have to...

So please bear with me as I will be around in all of the sections picking peoples brains

Cheers,

Tassiebloke

Indeed, TassieBloke,

Welcome back aboard, and good on ya for doing the right thing. Deeply educational.
