Australians in the Med

Greetings to all!
We have recently bought an Elan 434 Impression called Chance Encounter. We plan to spend 3 years cruising in the Med and then take a couple of years to sail her home via the Atlantic and The Pacific. A big challenge that one! Currently in the Gulf of Corinth we are heading to Gozek in Turkey where we will leave the boat for the winter.

Re: Australians in the Med

One of the most wonderful things for an Aussie wintering in Turkey is to head up to ANZAC Cove for ANZAC Day.

There is a boat harbour just 2 miles south of ANZAC called Kabe Tepe.

Last year we were the only yacht there and tied stern too the dock and paid some crazy low rate for 2 weeks.
That lets us walk daily through the area and get to know and love the battlefields.
