300 to 500K liability insurance is fairly stand requirement for US marinas.

I'm in Pensacola & spent time in Mobile. Just about all marinas along this stretch of the Gulf Coast will require a minimum of $300,000 in liability. Ballpark is $900 a year for a typical liability policy.

In Mobile, you're looking at Dog River for marinas. There are some on the Eastern Shore and further south, but I timed the drive to my office in Mobile and during rush hour it was the same time to get to Eastern Shore marinas as it was to drive to a marina in Pensacola. If you need to cross the Bayway, it's an hour minimum of drive time.

Later,
NJ

Welcome from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I'm hoping to live aboard as well, someday! Good luck!
