An Oldie but a Goodie

Hi to all .
I,m a new member and currently own an old cabin runabout to do a little fishing in the Auckland Harbour.
My wife Josephine and myself have owned two keelers.
1. A Davidson 31ft "Dalriada"
2. A Chieftain 38ft "Cochise"
We delivered the Chieftain up to Auckland from Picton same time as cyclone Boller and fortunately missed all the drama.
I raced the harbour on Davidson 28s for 3+ years , then on to Farr 38 Aclaim with Bev Whooley for 6+years
Offshore experience
1. Auckland/ Fiji/ Vanuatu as part of a delivery to North Australia on 55ft Davidson Carabean Ferro Owner Paul Stanaway the Bro in Law
2. Auckland/ Tonga one way with David Taylor and his first mate Anne who is a cousin of the wifes on 34ft Steel Vanderstadt
Currently looking for a 40ft+ Cruising Yacht to do some extensive cruising on as part of the bucket list before the 70s arrive. The dream is to do this in the Med

Welcome to the forum JJ.
Keep us posted on the boat search....many of us like nothing more than telling others how to spend their money.
