Amazing looking boat, but I don't know what it is
Looking to buy a sailboat and saw one this week-end on Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park PA and can't identify. It is a trimaran with extendable platvorms? outriggers? Have a picture if anyone can help me identify the manufacturer and type of boat.

Re: Amazing looking boat, but I don't know what it is
Aloha and welcome aboard!
If it has extendable amas then it probably is a Corsair. Try to do a search for Corsair trimarans.
Good to have you here.
kind regards,

Post it. I'm pretty sure it will get identified pretty quickly if it is a production boat.

No fair! Identifying the boat before the picture is posted?
We have rules here.

Did it look like the one in my profile picture? If so, it is a Telstar 28, and yes it is an amazing boat.

I have thought hard and long but have been unable to Identify the vessel described. How many windows does it have? also I need the location of the helm position.

Where are the "pichers"?
Bash is exactly right. We will not be passing out prizes until we see pichers.

I think its a new Hobie model. I sailed Lake Arther for 10 years...76 to 86 more or less. (1976 to 1986; not my age.)

Re: Amazing looking boat, but I don't know what it is
Those extendable platforms or outriggers are "amas" in Hawaii or "akas" in other places. They might even be called pontoons.
I kind of used a little telepathy on the thoughts of the OP.
How'd I do?
kind regards,

Re: Amazing looking boat, but I don't know what it is
Was it one of these? If so it's called a dragonfly. Saw this boat in Spain a few days ago, a great looking bit of kit. Had a chat to the owner and he says he's had 20kts out of her.
