Also Late

I too am late doing the Meet & Greet entry. I came across CF recently and jumped in after a short read ... lots of good information and robust exchange.

Not only late to CF but also late to sailing (60+ year old, Miami, FL native having spent summers on Great Abaco). As a retiree in New England, I am looking forward to a second retirement and I hope to do some cruising in the next year or so. It would be great to turn the clock back but can only move forward ... giving up on dreams isn't an acceptable alternative. There is also something to be said for acquiring a whole new set of skills a bit later in life and for us (early?) baby boomers, many are fortunate to enjoy good health making this possible.

I look forward to ongoing exchanges and hope to be "out there" before too much more time passes. To you younger folks, go for it ... to you older folks, go for it!

Welcome MysticFred.

There was a post not long ago about above the double nickel (55) and it was a fun and great read. Have at it as a lot of have.
