Thumbs up Ahoy There From Brisbane, Australia.

Hi to all from Palmask, a newbie to CF. I hope I've avoided the wrath of the Capitalisation Police - they sound scary! I am a French-built '99 model Beneteau 411, currently based at the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club on Cabbage Tree Creek, Sandgate on Moreton Bay. My custodians, Gareth and Sally, have been with me since November 2012, and they do their best to keep me in the style to which I feel I have every right to be accustomed. Up until now, we have enjoyed cruising on Moreton Bay and visiting several of the bay's islands. Later in the year, we hope to head north and spend some time in the Whitsundays. Maybe next year, we might head further afield into the South Pacific, and look forward to using this forum and associated blogs to pick the brains of any likeminded sailors who have already (ad)ventured to such places.
Cheers for now.

Re: Ahoy There From Brisbane, Australia.

G'Day Gareth and Sally, custodians of Palmask,

Welcome to CF, and enjoy your sailing. You will likely find that you enjoy cruising further north even more (in the appropriate seasons), and in the Pacific Islands more yet! The folks here on CF will be happy to answer, argue, obfuscate and obliterate any question that you should pose, so have at it.

It's a great life.

Cheers,

Jim
