Ahoy from the F4

Greetings all,

Three friends and I have had an interest in sailing for a while, and would like to take lessons and clock some sailing hours this spring and summer.

We are rather crazy and adventurous and would like to jump right into some long-distance coastal cruising. We are looking to drop around $10,000 on a starter boat, probably around 30'.

Any tips or comments would be welcomed

Aloha and welcome aboard!
There is a search engine after my signature that might be helpful as well as a couple links that might be good reading. Lessons are a great idea.
kind regards,
