A Windy "G'day" from Sydney!

Hi y'all

After discovering this forum several times via google searches to answer various maritime questions I decided to jump aboard.

This looks like a great virtual meeting point for like-minded salties and a cool resource for information exchange.

Also glad to see a couple of other new-comers from the North and South of Oz on the list.

I've been messing in boats since I was 10. Built a little one at 16. Sailboarded for a good few years....The last 10 years have been Harbour racing and casual cruising. Sydney-Whitsundays a couple of times. Recently Croatia.

Realised the dream of a 41 footer 9 months ago. We are getting to know each other as we work up to cruising further afield.

Looking forward to meeting on the web or the water.

Not windy, blowing a gale...

Hi Capt. Bliss, welcome to the Forum.

If this gale ever ends we might see each other on the harbour.

I'm the one in the 15 tonne steel Roberts Offshore keeping to the right hand side...

Welcome from the west
All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangereous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. T.E. Lawrence
