24' wooden sailboat mast

Hi, I am new here and am trying to find out some info for my grandfather. He has a 24' wooden sailboat mast. He got it in Bristol Bay in 1950. It has never been used. He thinks it's an antique? Any information on what it may be worth or who I could contact that may know more would be greatly appreciated. My email is chrissysworld@ or text at (425)923-7780. Thank you, Chrissy

Re: 24' wooden sailboat mast

Welcome to the forum. I hope others will respond.
You'll get more for the mast if you can pair it to a boat it was originally desiged for. For example if it came from a "Lightening" sailboat. There is not much market for just a wood mast unless you know what it came from and can advertise a Lightening mast for sale. If it has all the rigging attached it might get more. It too has everything to do with condition.
kind regards,

Chrissy, are you on the East coast? ( Bristol sounds like it) anyways, try the many maritime museums. The mast may not be as valuable as the hardware.
Good luck,
