Re: Yikes, Power Out from Los Angeles to Tijuana and East to New Mexico

News today says iit was one man's fault?

When living in Fl. during cane season. I kept a half dozen 5 gln jugs of gas ready, lots of ice, a cooler, bbq pit, coals, Honda 2k,and a few other assorted items ready for my empty 5x8 trailer in case we needed to leave.

I never thought this way until the 89 quake in S.F.. I immediatley went to the mom & pop corner store for canned goods, charcoal, bottled water, and ice for meat from the freezer. As the sun went down there was lights coming on except a few building. That was one strange feeling with a view of the whole bay.......i2f

Perhaps those living aboard their boats could offer to hold up a light so those on shore can find the way home.

I warned her not to plug the curling iron and hair dryer into the same outlet.
