Yachting Magazine

So I went to a boat show and ended up with a free subscriptionto Yachting. All I can is that I'm not worthy!!! When a magazine has stories of $3 million plus boats I just don't think they are talking to me. On the other hand they have a article of how to save $500 on a trip .........................by planning well for where you refuel in order to pay less per gallon. Of course I can not get my head around saving $0.30/gal on fuel for a weekend trip that added up to $500 in savings.

And just who is the person who can pay $3-7 MILLION for a boat and is looking at broker ads in a magazine anyway?

So I now know the degree to which I'm just scum and unworthy!

A couple of months ago they honored me with an annual subscription.

My ONLY guess was that they needed "subscription numbers" to justify their advertising costs - since the magazine is just loaded with ads.

But, I have to tell you... I WAS tempted to purchase Mirabella...

Don,

I got that deal too because I went to too many boat shows and there was nothing of interest left.

I am also not worthy.

We just got back from a month and did not spend 500.00.

We should write them an article huh?

A month! Hell the short read I had was it was talking about saving $500 for a WEEKEND trip. So I doubt they are going to accept your article as you couldn't even spend $500!

HAH!

Maybe they should just run on one engine........

I read that too and am just wondering what it would be like to have to plan a trip like that - HAH.

Saw some in the keys - they looked just as happy as us.

We get that one too. Way out of our league, but it can be fun to look at pictures of all the shiny toys ... that we will never get to actually play with.
