Working on a sailing boat?

Hey guys!
I am really new in this forum and in the sailing topic in general. Through friends I ended up on a sailing boat and spend there 2 month making our way from Auckland to Tonga and Fiji.
Now I don't want to miss beeing on a boat and I even though about working on one!
Do you think it would be possible to work for a sailing company?
I don't have any professional Sailing experience, but I did a lot of work in Hospitality (as Waitress and Barmaid).

Any tips?

Re: Working on a sailing boat?

I never worked for a company but if you are good crew the word gets out. Being female I'd recommend family boats, they tend to be safer.

Also, try the crew section here on CF. Look around Argentina and Chile too, seem to have lots of crewing opportunities on some pretty nice vessels, in spectacular settings.

Markj is looking for crew, he'd be a good boat cause he is cruising, so that means more play less work .
