Launch here in 29 days (not that I'm counting). At least most of this has melted by now and the Starbucks cup won't be filled with a solid block of coffee.

lost a shoe, feet and hands are now just about thawed out-- its 3deg c currently.

will have to return in a few hours when the tide is in to flush and get it running-------not looking forward to that as it will be even colder this evening

I always thought Hud said it best: "I don't know what we do all day but I know it takes all day to do it."

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

all in the cosy environment inside the boat...........to be faced with the prospect of having to jump off the dock into 2 foot of mud in the freezing wind before the tide rose!
