that's not true either. I've crashed my dirt bike over 100 times. Some are more embarrassing than others

Also, it's not motorcycles that are dangerous, it's the trees and the rocks. Same as a sailboat, damn rocks are no good I tell ya.

I have 2 wheeled on ice, snow, rain, hail, sleet, tornadic winds, sand storms, temps of 119 in Badlands South Dakota, 14115 feet above sea level at Pikes Peak, two bikes have taken Best In Show awards, ridden over 200MPH, Sturgis participant every year for over a decade.

You say people have slept on your motorcycle. That can be dangerous, because at a moments notice, you sometimes need to change lanes quickly, and sleeping people in the back seat have fallen off in doing so, or the rider has lost control because the weight of the riders did not stay as one unit.

This thread was a look at the fun of both outdoor adventures. Now if you wanted to say I know little about sailing, there you would be closer to correct.

One outing, had one of the wealthiest men in the world walk up to me and start a conversation about a V8 motorcycle I own. I reached up and pulled my hair and said back to him "PRELL" He grinned, and whispered into my ear "Grow More Hair, You Will Use More Shampoo.

Just finished 2 years on a 2300cc Triumph Rocket III going twice around the US (criss-cross and four corners). Was going to do the same thing sailing but the keel kept getting stuck in the dirt. Sold the bike, (bucket list checked off).... now sailing down to San Blas, Panama. the bike and the boat are exactly the same...just different.

A very nice day:

Ride our Harleys up to the marina, stop en-route for breakfast. Spend the day sailing on the river. Then a nice ride home in the evening, maybe stop by Malabar Mo's for a good band and a beer.

You may be able to take the bike with you....whereas fitting the boat on the bike is a bit of a squeeze, even for the v8's.
