I know you're joking, but that's not funny. If there can be only one, and a goat has to be gone, it'll have to be last in, first out, so be careful what you say about our esteemed goat.

Re: Where's the Goat?

How many goats does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Trick question. Goats don't screw in light bulbs, they screw in barnyards.

BREAKING NEWS.....

Local sources in Miami Beach are alleging that during Justin Bieber's alcohol, pot and Xanax-fueled drag racing incident in late January his companion aboard the Lambourghini was - The Goat! Reliable sources claim that The Goat was wearing a disguise at the time of the incident. More info as the situation develops.

Here's the leaked camera-phone photo taken by an unidentified janitor that appears to shows a disguised-cloaked The Goat in a Mimi Beach police holding pen.

Is that the same goat that was seeing laying a dozen jumbo eggs, the other day?

Re: Where's the Goat?

This thread is headed in a baaaad direction. I asked Sal Mander if he's seen his former rival. He just shrugged his head and derided his eating habits "that guy ate half the hull before he disappeared"

Re: Where's the Goat?

I've been waiting to hear from The Goat's (the real goat not this new comer) dad to post an update.

Re: Where's the Goat?

Sailor boy, there can be only one goat, and this is the same goat. It's just that we lost him for a while there. For those of you who missed the story, I lost a bet with sarafina, and her to send her a Cruisers Forum spinnaker. That was about a year and a half ago, and it got lost. Sarafina never got her spinnaker, and nobody knows what happened to it.

I am glad he's been sighted again, and if he's fit enough for drug fuelled drag racing, then at least he's alive. But if anyone actually gets close enough to speak to him, please do ask about what happened to the spinnaker.

Re: Where's the Goat?

For newer members (200 posts )......

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ate-31305.html

Nearly 5 years ago now! - was a pastiche on the (fortunately passing) fad of sending out children to be the youngest, shortest, cutest etc to sail RTW.

.....last I heard the Goat had set up the South Atlantic Goat Preservation Sanctuary (numbers of Goats are low in that region due to Climate Change - all donations$$$ welcome ).
