What Type of Sailboat is This ?

Hi all, can anyone tell me the what make of boat this is that I have found, it has been loosely tied up at roundwood quay off Falmouth since October. I have waded out into the mud and it looks as though the keel housing has split, there is no other damage to the hull that I can see.

Sorry I can't identify it. Maybe a country of origin might help us. Are you in U. K.? It appears to be a 20 footer or thereabouts.

That round hatch forward would be a giveaway if it is part of a production line.

Ok, if you feel like getting into the mud again, look at the upper right corner of the transom and see if there are some numbers/letters there. Post these if there are.

The boat is in the UK, I've already ruled out many of the trailer sailers such as the skipper17, Westerly Nimrod, Manta 19 and Parker 21.

Sailmonkey, If you read the OP, he says it"s in Falmouth.(I think thats in the UK....as in England).They are not subject to the same requirements that we are here in the USA, so the identification criteria are not the same.
But , it is anice looking little day sailor!

Hi All

After months of searching I have managed to find a little bit about this boat. It is a Dodnor Star Trekka 16", it was manufactured by Dodnor Marine on the Isle of Wight. It should have bilge plates fitted as they were only designed with this option. My lifting keel boat was modified badly and this is the main reason she has sunk as the hull is not rigid enough to take a lifting keel. I have asked the National Maritime Museum if they can supply original plans for this boat and I will investigate whether or not she is worth saving. As I got her free I can afford to spend a little on her. Luckily I am trained in composites being an Aircraft Engineer so I will be doing all the work myself.
