Don't leave the battery charger on all night when you have a bad maintenance free battery. The cabin full of sulfur dioxide is very stinky and poisonous too! (now have 3 brand new group 29's and new fully automatic proline 1240i charger.)

When backing down to set your anchor, make sure you shorten the dinghy painter. Its an awful sound to hear the nose of the dinghy slam the stern of your boat when the painter gets wrapped up in the prop!!
