Hey Surfershane, I think we're all laughing mate. Let's cut a deal. I'm soo close to a boat (do you do divorce work)? I expect to be out the Gate and turn left (stuff the right. Already been there). You can come over here entertain me and we will head south and west and scare the **** out of the rest.

I'll probably regret I wrote that. I usually try to give a good impression.
Do you think the mods will take my star away?

Shouldn't be a serious problem as there are plenty of boats and charter boats in Lake Powell which can be rented and cruised up the Grand Canyon a bit.

Well, not exactly the Grand Canyon, but on the San Juan which is a tributary to the Colorado:

Bernard Moitessier made a lot of improbable claims.

Ah, yes, but this refers to Tristan Jones and a papyrus raft on Lake Titicaca (on the border of Peru and Bolivia), if I'm not mistaken.

How's that when Black Sea waters flow into the Aegean Sea? Isn't the Dead Sea the lowest?

I believe he actually tried to sail his boat on The Dead Sea to sail at the lowest point on earth, but was denied permission to launch her on that body of water. The Dead Sea is some 422 meters (1385') below sea level.
