Re: Was Santa Good to You?
I received a coleman porta potty, a deep sea fishing kit, and a collapsible looking glass. Santa has been pretty good to me.

We bought a 2005 Leopard 40 on 12/16 and declared our Christmas gift to each other. To say we are excited about this new chapter in our lives is a huge understand net. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to finally own our own sailboat instead of chartering others. We count our blessings that this opportunity came our way when it did and plan Ito move aboard in January.
A huge thank you to all the great folks on CF, even the cynical posters with a crafty sense of humor. It's been very entertaining and helpful to read all of the posts over the last few years. We hope to see some of you out there as we sail up and down the east coast and beyond over the next 10 years.
Merry Christmas!

Computers that decide what the correct spelling is a bit frustrating. Sorry about the confusing first sentences.

Re: Was Santa Good to You?
We got a complete NMEA2000 network (batteries not included and some assembly required).

Re: Was Santa Good to You?
It was my best Christmas ever. No gifts but my wife had surgery Nov.22. She had an aortic bypass with grafts to 4 other arteries. It went PERFECT!!!!. She is still hurting but we should be back sailing soon. Thank you to Shands hospital and University of Florida. On top of that we got a deposit Fri. Her co-workers had given 134 hours of their paid tme off to her. We were stunned. Grateful hardly describes how we feel.

Re: Was Santa Good to You?
Yes he was.
We got a magnum inverter, a blue sky solar charge controller, 2 more golf cart batteries, a big alternator and voltage regulator and a sea scooter. Oh, and the new prop shaft is allegedly on it's way. After all this is installed (I'd better remember how to work hard) we can continue South until it's nice and warm.

I was a good boy this year. Santa brought me a 30 foot sailboat on a two axle galvanized trailer. A wait a minute, Rudolph tossed in a slip with electrical and water hook ups.
