Re: Was Santa Good to You?

Not much - but to be fair, I don't buy many presents either - a compromise I am very happy with

Haven't bought myself anything this year - but a few weeks back I did find this (Walker Bay log) in a cupboard that I had long since forgotten all about:-

I love stuff like that - albeit probably won't use it onboard, at least not day to day.

I'm gonna pretend it came from Santa............

Re: Was Santa Good to You?

Due the thunderstorm and pelting rain outside, I think I just got a very wet V-berth for Christmas! No dramas as a mate has me sleeping over at his place for security reasons. While I might have not closed a porthole he seems to have accidentally turned his fridge off which leaves me with a huge amount of food that needs to be eaten.

The biggest present though was to make it back home to have Christmas with my daughter and catch up with a lot of other friends!

Now that's a pretty neat find. I see they provide two props for the log. Maybe this is the reason why:

That's an easy fix for me. Just put a lure on the end and it will be a fish free zone

Re: Was Santa Good to You?

Our boats name is Rubber Ducky.

Our daughter and my Mom went in together and got sweat shirts with a rubber ducky on the front, "Don't mess with the Duck" on the back. The hood of mine says "skipper" and the hood of my wife's says "admiral".
