Anyone else notice how the count has been bumping up lately?

passed on the cf details on the facebook additional links page to old salty friends,guess it is exponential,see now the add links box is now full of my fb salty friends.

be interesting to know what their alias's are if they have become members....... especially when plagarising other peoples stories!!!!!!!

It's cyclical but with a general trend up. I would worry more about quality than quantity though.

Some of the growth over the past weeks comes from the last parts of winter in the northern hemisphere. Northern sailors are really getting the urge to get back out after a hard winter both in the US and Europe. The northern spring boost is usually the biggest spurt we get and has been like that since the first days at CF. The southern sailors don't have the huge numbers but the overall growth comes from more international members more than it used to.

As ideas for boat projects grow we also see a little bit of upward growth in registrations too. We have a huge following that never registers and a boat project can get even the shy people to register for a little bit of advice.

Members welcoming new members in the Meets and Greets has been the biggest contributor to new members registering. If anyone has a spare minute to welcome someone new it does make a difference. It isn't something you see on most other sailing web sites. Members helping members is the wind and fuel we need. Its done one post at a time.
