USA National Elections

I know how foolish and inappropriate it is to talk politics or religion in a sailing forum, but here goes anyway.

Log off the computer for an hour or so and get into your car, and go vote.

We voted on the way to work this morning.

I will be so glad to have the political ads off of you tube.

Re: USA National Elections

Vote weeks ago...... Making people wait in lines to for hours to vote is BS. There ought to be a federal law.........

Yes, by all means VOTE.

Some states have boating-related laws on the ballot.

I don't think my vote would count in your elections.

Re: USA National Elections

I haven't voted before. Almost did once but deployment overseas effected that.

I'm not so sure I like the options so whatever happens, happens.

Last time I voted at the US Embassy in Trinidad. This time I mailed in by ballot a week ago in Washington State.

I voted at 7:18am this morning at my precinct. I live in a small community and mine was the 50th ballot recorded. Took all of 5 minutes.

Re: USA National Elections

I voted this morning. The only person in line ahead of me was my wife. Seven days of early voting made voting on election day a breeze.

Re: USA National Elections

I don't vote because I don't believe in a federal government.
I much prefer villages and tribal communities.

One of the terrible side effects of not voting is that you must not complain about the outcome.
