Raised my daughter alone from the time she was 12 yrs young until she was off to college. Prom dress shopping the whole gig.
Surprising how many mommies saw me at the dress shop with her and found a way to get their phone number into my pocket. Guess a nurturing father gets extra points.

Hmmm, not sure if younger is always better. Last GF was 16 years younger then me, didn't have have half the spunk of one I dated a few years back who was 3 years older then me.
