Being in a relationship with more than one person at a time is very time consuming and can at times be very difficult, I would imagine-- the 2 other partners being resentful at you at times-and then how close will you really get with either of them- is it really worth it?

1 - they're higher maintenance
2 - they're more demanding
3 - your have to pay for your fun, one way or another

Just a thought.

Just takes a little salt on my tail!

Arguments for the older woman (maybe even me?):
1. been there done that -ready to leave it behind to go sailing
2. knows kindness and a sense of humor are much more important that good looks
3. if she's looking, means a high libido
4. appreciates the 'morning surprise'
5. doesn't care if you look, 'cause she's lookin' at the young ones too!

There's more I'm sure!

ok. I finally looked it up......definition:This person is in love with love. They believe in fairy tales and love. They're not to be confused as stalkers or creepy because that's not what a hopeless romantic is. All hopeless romantics are idealists, the sentimental dreamers, the imaginative and the fanciful when you get to know them. They often live with rose colored glasses on.They make lovelook like an art form with all the romantic things they do for their special someone.

Romanticism can be a bad thing. If you imagine perfect romantic scenarios, reality can then sometimes be a disappointment. After all, romantic images never have flaws, but in reality we all do. Better to embrace them. Being in love can often mask the flaws at first in all the excitement, but the truth will out!

Perhaps that's what you friend meant? You tend to over romanticise situations and then reality jumps up and slaps you!

When you need a friend, an older woman is the correct choice, always!
