Thwack !

Just moved back home now that I am out of the military. looking for a sailboat while I figure out what I am going to do.

Me and my family are outside. I go in and pull my compound bow out. every one gets interested and I go looking for a few pieces of plywood to use as a make shift target. My ever loving mom decides to help and offers me a tall piece of half inch stuff instead of the 2 3/4 pieces I had in my hands, well mom is not one to argue with so I take the thin piece and hand her a small styro cup to trace a circle with. she then laughs and puts a dine sized dot in the center. I asked her to stop when she went to put bigger diameter circles on it, and ofcourse she gives me the "yeah, right" look. well we take the board lean it against a tree, I walk about 25m away, turn and THWACK!. She hadn't even had a chance to get as far back as she had wanted, not trusting my aim. Made her jump something good. Right in the middle of the dime sized dot. buried the arrow all the way up into the feathers (vanes). She then offers to let me do it my way. LOL.
