Re: The Mallorca Squad

So looking at the news, it would appear that the UK will join in the heat wave that is enveloping Spain. In a few days, the John Kettleys estimate we will be having 30C !

Then the complaints will continue, from "its too cold!" to "its too hot!"

Re: The Mallorca Squad

Yeah the central part of NA is hot as well. We haven't had scorching weather but a lot of humidity with the heat makes it less comfortable than I like.

Yup, it is lovely and warm here at anchor in Santa Ponsa. CAVU, 1021 mb, +31 in the boat, and sea temp of 26.2!

That was my local Marina in the 80, 90s

Nice place. My apartment was directly opposite the bay where the road turns to the right..........

Re: The Mallorca Squad

Meat question:

You know that salted pork on the bone we've discussed in the past? Well, when I go to the store or street vendor and sample the stuff, it tastes awesome. So I buy several slices for use in sandwiches or to eat as is over the next few days.

After one day in the fridge it's just OK, second day, the consistency is a little soggy, by the third day the stuff has the consistency in my mouth of flem and tastes like mush.... I spit it out. This from a meat which costs over 50 euros per kilo.

What am I doing wrong?
