We were hanging out in Santa Ponsa bay & just got back to port this morning after three nites out. I went for the first swim of the year in 22.9 C
water. I should have taken a buried-Rocna
photo for Noelex but hadn't gotten the SJCAM fired up yet.
We had to come back in for another visit to Palma Planas this pm. Still no joy in that department.
The boat is working well, the wx is perfect, the wine fine. Our friends next door should be back today so I imagine there will be a lot of over-the-lifelines visiting. Canadian friends arrive next week to rejoin their
trawler which we were all on last
winter in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. More wine, more visiting, possibly sailing with the
trawler.
Summer--hot, stable wx--had arrived before we did. There seem to be more yachts on the water earlier this year. Our friendly yacht
broker tells me business is finally picking up a bit. There seem to be more cats than ever before. Our first afternoon out we saw the Aduanas anchored right at Palma Nova. I hear the instances of pick-pocket crimes are up, especially in supermarkets. Overall, situation normal on Mallorca.
Let us know if you're coming this way weavis. Anyone else in the neighborhood?
