pirate Talk Like a Pirate

Arrrrrrrrrrr, Tomorrow 9/19 is national talk like a pirate day. So go get your eye patch and go raiding for some booty. Arrrrrr

PS - Pirates would probably still have both eyes if they stopped putting birds on thier shoulders.

I want to know why Ben Gunn talked the way he did....ending every sentence with...I says..or he says. I'll ask RL Stevenson when I see him.

If you see a sailing ship it might be your last
Just get your civies ready for another run ashore

I had to laugh at this just now. I'm sitting here on the boat with my parrot on my shoulder and she has just recently learned to say Arrrrrrrr! and Yo ho ho! (thanks to the captain, who thinks he's a pirate too!)

I guess we'll have a non-stop Treasure Island movie marathon tomorrow!
Arrrrrr!

Hah!....too bad it does not fall on a work day. It would have been fun having the group of scientists on the boat yesterday all talking like pirates. "The scurvy beasts they be..."
