Re: Taking a Fox Sailing

When this started out talking about school reunions I was thinking the "fox" was an old high-school girlfriend. I had visions of some kind of stand-off between the old school flame and the current GF.

But it turns out to have been a lot less complicated than I feared. Phew!

So hang on, you threw it bits of cheese and roast beef, then left it in a cosy den full of warm soft padding.... and you are surprised it did not want to leave?

Really?

I would have stayed under those circumstances.

I agree. Beginning a thread with "Taking A Fox Sailing" and "I recently attended my 35 reunion" was wrong. Just wrong.

To be clear, there won't be any pictures of your girlfriend?

As to the mixing different colored anti-freeze, any kindergarten teacher can tell you that mixing too many colors will give you brown sludge.
Actually, mixing the wrong anti-freeze will sludge up an engine. Google it. Stick to glycol, the green stuff.
BTW, they have finally gotten smart and are denaturing it so Fido won't drink it.

Re: Taking a Fox Sailing

Only a very few are non toxic, denaturing is actually making it toxic, it came from the prohibition era, grain alcohol meant for industry etc was "denatured" so it couldn't be drunk, and I believe quite a few went blind etc cause they drank it anyway.
The alcohol that is put into gasoline is nothing more than very pure Moonshine, you could drink it, if it weren't denatured.
I think often Methanol is added to denature Ethanol.
