Good morning! A late morning cappuccino and bowl of oatmeal here in Rhode Island where it is 60 and blustery. Took one boat to the shop for winterizing yesterday, and heading down to move the trawler from NC to Isle of Hope shortly (FL for winter!).

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee & Weather

Good Morning from the mountains of Boone, NC. Temperature is in the mid 50's and bright sunshine with fall colors. Boat is on the Cheaspeake and will be moved to the Pamelco Sound area of NC come spring. Miss being on the water even though it's great hiking here in the mountains.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee & Weather

Good Morning and welcome. I've got my pot of Green Mountain coffee and just finished the paper. In southwest Florida, it's 78 and humid. Temps in the afternoon will be in the 80's. It's a good time to be in Florida.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee & Weather

It is 0 C or 32 F clear skies and glassy waters. I have ice on the boat this morning but it`s warm and dry inside. First cup of Jo being made. Blueberry pancakes are next on the agenda up here near Vancouver Island.

On my second cup of Espresso Roast here in LA. Cool this morning (61) but warming to low 70's. Not a cloud in the sky, but the coastal layer slowly burning off..yea, the sun is winning.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather

Very impressive response on the coffee & weather thread this morning Sailors! We covered the countries of Canada, USA, England, Nigeria and Texas (well TX is almost big enough to be its own country.)

Look forward to another cup of java with you another time. If someone else wants to start up an Off Topic Coffee & Weather thread another morning will be good to see.

All the Best for a great day everyone and Happy Sailing!

Aye zeehag! I missed you in Mexico indeed.

That's a spot to enjoy sailing for sure with Sea of Cortez on my bucket list. Thanks for pointing out my miss and enjoy your day!

A flag is attached for good measure.

Good morning all. It's 32f, clear skies and no wind. The coffee is brewing, then I'm off to the boat to winterize the engine. Hope those of you still on the water have a great day!

It's about 16 c here today, sunny no wind. Just enjoying my second double double, then heading out in the power boat to Devils Island.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather

Hey All, beautiful sunrise this morning and a fresh pot of Tim's on to share with everyone. Sit down and grab a cuppa.

37F now and 55F later today....looks nice out there. An excellent Fall season so far in this part of Canada.

I'm at work all day, but should be a good one. All the Best!

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather

Socked in with fog here an hour ago in L.A. Harbor. Can't even see across the channel..., very sweet morning in the cockpit punctuated by the USC womans rowing teams catching greif form their coxwains pulling hard up the channel... we heard them first, the shouting and the unisoned clacking of oars before they appeard out of the fog.
For Bay Area folks particularly... the second oldest specialty roaster in the States Freed, Teller & Freed's they used to be on the Polkstrasse but got pushed out by condo development. They know how to roast some coffee and their first flush Darjeeling while pricey is amazing.
